This sucks. I LOVED his music, i listened to Twin sons of a different mother so much I wore it out. He will be missed.

I loved the song "Netherlands" which, I think, was his first album (could be wrong there).
He took a lot of heat for writing super-sappy stuff, but he had an amazing voice and was a huge talent.
And he was swoonably handsome.
He will be missed.
I love Dan! He and Shawn Phillips were so hot in the 70's. I had crushes on them both!

He was awesome. Same Old Lang Syne is one of my all time favorite songs.
I was so very sorry to see him go. He will be sadly missed as a great person and musician.
Saw that in the obits tonight. What a shame. I knew an awful lot of the words to his songs by heart...
